Please keep in mind that ALEKS scores are not grades like on a class exam. A score of 30 or higher reflects that a student is adequately prepared for college-level mathematics. Higher level scores representative an adequate preparedness for higher level courses.

ALEKS course content spans from Grade 3 to Precalculus which allows students to work on lesson-level content at their own pace while still acquiring prerequisite skill support or extending their learning, making it ideal for remediation, intervention, or enrichment settings.

What if I don't do well on the test? All students will have one opportunity to retake the exam during the summer, and additional opportunities during the school year. Before retaking the exam you will need to spend eight hours in an ALEKS learning module.

ALEKS individualized assessment and learning enables students to efficiently refresh and fill gaps in their knowledge of the mathematics tested on the SAT. The course works best when supplemented with SAT practice tests, so that students achieve fluency in the particular style and format of the SAT test questions.
